Pultrusion Process
Pultrusion is a manufacturing process that produces continuous lengths of fiber reinforced plastics (FRP) structural shapes with a constant cross section.

This technique consists of guiding a number of fiber strands and fiber mats from unwinding rolls to a resin impregnation system. The number of fiber strands and mats required are selected from the final profile mechanical properties we would like to produce. The impregnation system usually consists of a resin bath where the fibers are dipped for some time to let them impregnate properly. The soaked fibers are then passed through a heated die where the resin matrix is cured to form a continuous solid section part out of the die. The solid part is then pulled continuously from the die by reciprocating clamping pullers at a fixed speed. This eco-friendly and affordable method is preferred for continuous manufacturing and rapid production.
